Budget Panel meets approximately 5 times a year.  It is usually chaired by an opposition councillor.  The Panel:

·                Reviews fees and charges;

·                Examines the budget proposals and forwards any comments to Cabinet;

·                Reviews the Finance Digest (the budget monitoring report);

·                Examines the Medium Term Financial Strategy;

·                Reviews services spending priorities.
