Transitions UK requested £2200 towards
the cost of providing support to 10 vulnerable young people at risk
of offending/criminal exploitation.
Decision:
Application declined.
Decision makers felt that their project was very similar to an
existing project and therefore there was concern of
duplication.
Officers were also unable to make contact with the references
provided by the organisation despite attempts to do so prior to the
decision meeting.
The Mayor's Small Grants Fund 2021-22 is also under huge demand and
applications need to meet the criteria for funding as much as
possible.
