The Council is looking to investigate development opportunity at existing temporary accommodation facilities. A feasibility study and subsequent design work will need to be carried out in order to determine the residential capacity on site and the anticipated costs for redevelopment.
This decision is required to allow fees to be incurred to undertake design and surveys to produce a feasibility study, cost plan and potential design for planning at the site. Subsequently, further design and build costs may be required to deliver the project.

09/11/2018 - Working Capital Facility for Watford Commercial Services ref: 2687    Recommendations Approved

A business plan for Hart Homes was agreed on 7 November 2016 and delegation give to the Managing Director to enable a working capital facility to be provided to Watford Commercial Services (WCS) to facilitate future developments in Hart Homes.
The working capital facility to WCS of £150,000 is to be made available, with an interest rate of 3%.
A copy of the draft working capital facility agreement is attached.
