Purpose:
Impactful Governance applied for £3000
from the Mayor's Small Grants Fund 2021-22 towards the cost of
providing lead walks to anyone over the age of 18 who may be
experiencing isolation and poor mental health.
Decision:
Application declined.
Decision makers felt that there was already existing provision for
led walks through other organisations (i.e. Herts Health Walks) and
therefore may create duplication.
The Mayor's Small Grants Fund has also seen huge demand this year
and therefore applications need to meet our funding criteria and
priorities as much as possible.
