Purpose:
To seek authorisation to publish a
“Notice of Proposals” and:
a)…. where no objections are received or where objections
are subsequently withdrawn “Make” the TROs and
implement the proposal and:
b)….where objections are received and not subsequently
withdrawn, report the details of the objections together with
Officer’s recommendations so that further instructions can be
obtained.
To seek authorisation to consult residents and businesses in the
immediate vicinity of the proposal by means of a letter and plan
drawing their attention to the published “Notice of
Proposals” and explaining how they can obtain more details of
the proposals and make representations should they wish.
Decision:
The Head of Transport and Infrastructure agrees –
· to implement the above order as proposed.
· to commit to a review of the Permit Parking Zone operational hours within 6 months of implementation.
· to carry out a pre & post implementation Parking Stress survey to analyse the impacts of the new Permit Parking Zone in Diamond Road, Jubilee Road as well as surrounding streets in Legatts Ward.
· to publish the Notice of Making, seal the Order and procure the works should the above be agreed.
