The Portfolio Holder is responsible for Development Management, Planning Policy and Economic Development, Transport, Parking and Projects, Property (WBC asset base – strategic) and major projects.
The Mayor and Portfolio Holders are able to make decisions in accordance with the Executive Scheme of Delegation as set out in the Council’s Constitution.
The Mayor and Portfolio Holders may sometimes be required to make decisions based on “Part B” reports which are classified as confidential in accordance with the terms of the Local Government Act Section 100 (1) Schedule 12A.
