Apologies for absence/ committee membership

Minutes:

There were two changes of membership for this meeting: Councillor Aron replaced Councillor Jeffree and Councillor Bashir replaced Councillor Connal. 

 

Councillors Khan and Bashir advised that they may need to leave the meeting early.

Licensing Sub-Committee minutes and update

Since the last Committee the following Licensing Sub-Committee hearings have taken place:

  • D&S Food and Wine (25 March 2014) Councillors Crout (Chair), I Brown and Mills
  • The Flamingo (28 April 2014) Councillors Derbyshire (Chair), Jeffree and Meerabux
  • Jazz in the Park (11 June 2014) Councillors Crout (Chair), Lynch and Mills
  • The Nascot Arms (19 June 2014) Councillors J Brown (Chair), Connal and Jeffree

 

Licensing Sub-Committee minutes are available to view on the Council’s website:

The respective Chairs will be asked to approve and sign the minutes.

Minutes:

The Committee received an update on the Licensing Sub-Committee hearings which had taken place since the last Committee meeting. 

 

The minutes were submitted to the Chairs of each Sub-Committee for approval.

The Committee received a report of the Head of Community and Customer Services setting out minor changes to the existing Sex Establishment Licence Policy which was due for renewal.

 

The Licensing Manager introduced the report.  No consultation had taken place as there were no recommendations to change the policy, nor had any representations been received.

 

RESOLVED –

 

that the policy at appendix 1 be re-adopted for a further three years.
