Purpose:
To provide a deed of variation on the existing
'Outreach Services Contract' with New Hope.
To allow the organisation to provide a continuous humanitarian
night shelter service for up to 10 clients during December 2018 and
the end of January 2019.
New Hope already provide a Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP)
for the Council, through the winter when temperatures are
forecasted to be at zero degrees or below for 3 consecutive
nights.
This decision extends the existing provision that is in
place.
Decision:
To award New Hope £10k through a deed of
variation on their existing 'Outreach Services Contract' to provide
continuous night shelter for up to 10 clients from 1st December
2018 to 31st January 2019.
